Suez Canal chairman denies its privatization

The chairman of the Suez Canal organization, Lieutenant General Ahmed Fadel, denied today reports that the Suez Canal will be privatized. He said that what was privatized is the Suez Canal Company for Investment, established in 1981 with funds of LE2 million. He said this company is the connection between the Suez organization and the insurance fund.
