Hizbullah officials: War with Israel not yet finished
Lebanon-Israel, Politics, 5/5/1998

Hizbullah's official in south Lebanon Sheikh Nabil Qawouq stated that the war with Israel is not finished yet despite the large number of mediations, visits, European and American tours.

Qawouq said in statements he made yesterday evening that the Lebanese resistance is ready and willing to confront all possibilities of war, especially because Israel is calling for and desire to go out of Lebanon while it is preparing for a new comprehensive war.

Meanwhile Ibrahim Amin from Hizbullah said that all the countries that are trying to get Israel out of south Lebanon through guarantees and conditions are not laying the responsibility for crimes, massacres and damages in Lebanon attributable to Israel.

Amin stated that Lebanon has to stand by the resistance because it is the only way to win a withdrawal of Israel, pointing out that U.S. efforts in this regard are have been inadequate and ineffective.
