El-Baz in Doha today, as Moussa accepts Qatari invitation
Egypt-Qatar, Politics, 5/5/1998

Egyptian political advisor Osama El-Baz will arrive today in Doha at the invitation of the Gasra social and cultural club in order to speak about globalization, the Arab summit and problems facing the peace process.

During his visit, El-Baz will deliver an oral message from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to the Emir of Qatar.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry has sent Foreign Minister Amr Moussa's acceptance of the invitation from his Qatari counterpart, Hamad Bin Jasim, to attend the May meetings of the ministerial committee.

Moussa's visit to Qatar will be his first since the Egyptian - Qatari reconciliation brokered by the Saudi monarch, King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz and his successor, Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

With Moussa's response to this invitation, a chapter in the Egyptian - Qatari disputes will be closed.
