Aziz criticize Arab states
Iraq, Politics, 5/4/1998

Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz launched a strong attack today against the Arab countries by saying they "have became a toy in the hand of the US." He said that UN economic sanctions could be lifted if the Arab countries took a collective decision not to honor them.

He asked, "What could the US do to twenty-two Arab countries if they did not adhere to the imposed siege on Iraq?"

Aziz has also said, "Iraq will make an organized campaign toward the countries who are members in the United Nations in order to uplift the siege and show the suffering to which the Iraqi people are exposed to".
