Jordanian Water and Irrigation Ministry signs an agreement

Jordan's Water and Irrigation Ministry signed an agreement worth JD1.2 million to supply water to a hotel area on the eastern coast of the Dead Sea. The agreement was signed by Water and Irrigation Minister Munthir Haddadin and the project's contractors.
Following the signing ceremony, Haddadin told the reporters that the project includes the construction of a 20 km water transfer system from three wells at the Kafren area to the site, "It aims at promoting tourism activity in the area through enhancing the infrastructure facilities there."
