Egypt will host the eighth summit of the group 15th next week

Cairo will host two-day summit meetings of the group of 15 developing countries beginning on May 11.

Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed El-Goweili said today that he met the chairmen of the industries, commercial chambers, exhibition organizations, international markets, and foreign trades sectors to finalize arrangements for the economic and commercial sides of the summit.

Goweili stated that he will hold a meeting next Thursday for the chairmen of the commercial chambers from the group's member states to form a joint union that will be signed at the summit meetings.

The group's trade ministers will hold a meeting during the summit to discuss many issues, among which are the group's readiness for the meetings of the World Trade Organization in Geneva in the period between May 18 - 20 and attended by the organization's general manager.
