Damascus Declaration ministers to meet in Doha

The secretary-general of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jamil Hujeilan, said the ministerial meeting of the Damascus Declaration signatory states will be held soon in Doha, Qatar.
In a statement to the London-based al-Hayat daily issued on Sunday, Hujeilan added that declaration was a quiet "political uprising and an attempt to pump new blood in the charter of the Arab League."
He indicated that the Damascus Declaration "should remain active so as to achieve its set objectives. It is a new guise demonstrating Arab solidarity and is based on unequivocal principles" he told the paper.
