Yemeni opposition view PM resignation as a loss
Yemen, Politics, 5/2/1998
Pessimism was expressed among the Yemeni opposition concerning the future of the administrative, financial and economic reforms underway in Yemen.
When the resignation of Prime Minister Farag Bin Ghanim was presented and approved by the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh the day before yesterday, the opposition's deputy leadership agreed that with the resignation of Bin Ghanim, Yemen lost an important chance for reforming the administrative and the economic positions, because Ghanim is seen by the opposition as a man of integrity and efficiency.
