Makadishu port, harbor could not be opened
Somali warlords who control the capital, Makadishu, have failed to reopen the city's port and airport and to set up a united municipal administration as they had agreed to carry out these two measures during a period not to exceed Thursday.

Gaddafi arrives in Chad
Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi arrived on Thursday in Njamina for a three-day official visit to Chad, accompanied by a huge delegation comprising hundreds of persons. Upon arriving at the airport he was welcomed by Chad President Idris Deby.
