Kuwait, Judicial, 5/1/1998
The Kuwaiti court of appeals on Thursday endorsed prison sentences handed down in December 1997 against people accused of attacking the opposition liberal parliamentarian Abdullah al-Neibari.
Kuwaiti criminal court sentenced one Kuwaiti and two Iranians to life in prison for their unsucessful assassination attempt on the life of al-Neibari who is known as an activist against corruption.
