American jet crashed in Saudi desert

The US Department of Defense announced that a US jet fighter crashed on Wednesday in the Saudi desert, noting that its four-member crew was rescued.
The US Department of Defense added that the fighter, which took off from Prince Sultan air base, crashed for unknown reasons. This is, however, the second incident of a similar type within this week. A F-18 Hornet fighter jet from the aircraft carrier the USS Independence crashed last Monday in the Arab Gulf's waters and the pilot was rescued.
