EU condemns Algeria massacres

The European Union's Presidency issued a statement condemning the latest massacres of civilians in Algeria, saying that the EU "remain[s] supportive of the Algerian Government's efforts - within the rule of law and consistent with human rights - to protect their citizens from terrorism."
