Disputes between leaders of Yemen's socialist party

The central committee of the Yemeni Socialist Party criticized the party's leaders for weakening the party's role and reducing its activity.

The committee also stated that the political bureau of the party, headed by the secretary-general of the party Ali Saleh Aiad, did not implement the decisions of the previous session. Moreover the committee said the bureau has ignored its role for more than a year.

Meanwhile, the committee finalized the drafts of the party's fourth general conference, dealing with the party's political report, program and internal structure, despite the disputes that broke out between its members. The committee decided to hold its coming session in July, coinciding with the occasion of the birthday of the party's late founder, Abdul Fattah Ismael.
