Israeli Prime Minister to visit New York in May

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit New York in the middle of May, to meet with the secretary-general of the United Nations, Kofi Annan and discuss the Israeli proposal of conditional withdrawal from south Lebanon.
Netanyahu's spokesman, David Bar-Ilan, said the meeting between Netanyahu and Annan will tackle the Israeli suggestion, which was rejected by Lebanon.
While the secretary-general of the Lebanese Hizbullah group said that the Islamic resistance will continue to fight the occupation.
Lebanon has rejected the conditional withdrawal proposal, and continues to call for unconditional Israeli withdrawal as per UN resolution 425.
