Sudanese opposition calls for boycotting referendum on new constitution

Sudan's northern opposition and southern rebels called for a boycott of the referendum on the new constitution, due to begin tomorrow and last through May 20.
Voters will submit their ballots at 810 election bureaus across Sudan, including those in southern areas in which the civil war is taking place. 10 million citizense are expected to express their opinion concerning the new constitution in the referendum.
