Egypt joins space age

The Egyptian satellite Nile Sat was successfully launched on Wednesday morning from a French base in South America in the presence of Egyptian Information Minister Safwat al-Sharif. Nile Sat, scheduled to reach its orbit in space on May 7, will provide communication services and TV channels.
