Intensive preparatory meetings for Group of 15 summit conference in Cairo

Ahmed El-Goweili, the Egyptian minister of trade and supply, held a meeting yesterday to assess ministries' and governmental organizations' arrangements for the summit conference of the Group of 15 in Cairo starting on May 6.
Goweili said during the conference that the final agreement between Egypt and members of the group on establishing a general union among trade chambers would be signed.
Goweili added that the conference will discuss final arrangements for meetings of the international trade organization IGAD (Inter-Governmental Authority Development composed of six African countries) which will be held in Geneva on May 18-20.
