Moroccan delegation arrives in Baghdad for a show of support

A Moroccan public delegation arrived at the Iraqi capital Baghdad, traveling from the Iraqi - Syrian border. The delegation comprises lawyers, doctors and eminent personalities to express solidarity with Iraq.
This visit is considered the first for an Arab delegation across Iraq's borders with Syria.
Meanwhile a member of lawyers' department in Rabat, Akdim, said that the delegation is carrying nominal aid, including food and medicine, as a gift from the Moroccan people to Iraq.
He added that the delegation includes 115 persons headed by the lawyers' head in Morocco Abdul-Hamid El-Kasimi and said that the delegation will leave Baghdad on Friday.
Also, for the first time since the beginning of the sanctions against Iraq, the United Sates sent a shipment of medicine and food to Iraq.
