COPEX 98 exhibition in Jordan

COPEX 98, an exhibition of sophisticated military and civil defense equipment opened yesterday at King Abdullah air base in Amman, Jordan.
The annual military hardware Exhibition was organized by the London-based Contingent and Operational Procurement Exhibition COPEX, in conjunction with the Jordan Armed Forces.
Jordan Defense Industries and local firms along with 80 Arab and foreign companies are represented in the exhibition. Among the major powers represented are the USA, the UK, Germany, France and Russia.
Defense Ministers and armed forces chiefs of staff from the participating countries are attending the two-day exhibition.
