Sheikh Ahmed Yassin visits Tehran

Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the founder of the Hamas movement (the Islamic resistance movement), will begin a five-day visit to Tehran today, although for security reasons, it was kept secret whether he is leaving from Doha or from Kuwait.
Sheikh Yassin's tour includes Syria, Jordan, South Africa and Malaysia.
Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa, the emir of Qatar, paid a visit yesterday to Sheikh Yassin at his room at Doha's Sheraton hotel.
Meanwhile Sheikh Yassin met with Palestinians employed in Qatar and said the conflict between Hamas and the Palestinian government will be solved soon if the government cooperates.
