Mubarak - Gore meeting to focus on economics

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and US Vice-President Al Gore's May 3 discussions will tackle important economic issues.
At the top of the economic issues is increasing direct US investments in Egypt, an increase in the US market's Egyptian exports, and introducing advanced US technology to Egyptian companies.
The US - Egyptian presidents' council will hold a meeting in the presence of President Mubarak and Vice-President Gore and the joint council's 30 members, where the meeting will tackle US direct investments and financing development projects especially in energy and communications.
