EU denies boycott of Israeli settlers' products

The European Union has denied that it intends to impose sanctions on commodities produced by Israeli settlements in the occupied Gaza Strip and West Bank.
Spokesman for the European Commission was quoted on Thursday as saying that what has been published by the Israeli dailies in this regard was groundless.
The Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot reported that the EU has blacklisted commodities produced by Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The EC spokesman, on the other hand, stressed that produce from the Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories, cannot benefit from the preference given to the same commodities produced inside Israel within the borders prior to 1967 war.
