An agreement between the Arab academy of the banking sciences and Europe

The Arab Academy of Banking Sciences signed an agreement with the European Union, according to which the academy gets a donation of $1 million to finance training programs and conduct studies to develop the Arab banking sector.
Dr. Mostfa Hodeib, the chairman of the academy, currently visiting Egypt, said the money would be used to finance the purchase of modern equipment for the academy's new headquarters in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.
Hodeib said that this year will view the inauguration of new branches of the academy in many countries, among which are Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Lebanon, adding that the first of these branches will be inaugurated in Beirut.
