AL secretary general arrives in Algiers

Arab League Secretary-General Esmat Abdul Meguid arrived in Algiers on Sunday for a three-day official visit to Algeria. Abdul Meguid will hold talks with several Algerian officials pertaining to current Arab political issues, especially the Middle East peace process and Arab-European relations.
The AL secretary will also discuss with Algerian officials means of consolidating and reviving the AL's role in advancing Arab common action. Meguid will head to Morocco afterwards for similar talks.
