Moroccan-Egyptian business council to be set up

Morocco and Egypt signed on Thursday, in southern Egypt, a convention providing for setting up a Moroccan-Egyptian business council.
The council is meant to foster ties between Moroccan and Egyptian businessmen, exchange information on investment opportunities in the two countries and institute dialogue between the two governments in a bid to lower the obstacles hampering joint ventures and trade exchanges.
It will also promote exchange of training programs and technology and know-how transfer to improve local products to meet the internal demand and upgrade exports.
