Egyptian - Sudanese talks

The head of Cairo University, Dr. Farouk Ismael, will visit Khartoum tomorrow to sign an agreement restoring Egyptian educational establishments confiscated by the Sudanese authorities.
The property includes school buildings belonging to the Egyptian cultural mission and the headquarters of the Egyptian irrigation ministry in Sudan.
Khartoum announced that the Egyptian properties will be restored back to Egypt in the coming months.
An Egyptian source stated that security talks between the two sides have made great progress especially in information exchange, the wanted, and issues concerning handing over individuals. The sources said Egypt and Sudan have launched a new stage of cooperation where the matters are proceeding positively, yet Cairo is still examining the items of the security agreement with Sudan before signing it.
In other news, Egyptian Minister of Interior Habib El-Adli held discussions with his Iraqi counterpart Mohammed El-Sadoon, and they exchanged points of view in the issues of joint interest.
