Saudi Cabinet holds weekly meeting

King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia on Monday briefed the Saudi Cabinet during its meeting Monday on the results of his talks with British Prime Minister Tony Blair in Jeddah on Saturday.
In a statement following the meeting, the Saudi information minister said the King noted that he discussed with Blair current issues in the region, especially the Middle East peace process and obstacles presented by Israel to obstruct the realization of genuine progress on all Middle East peace tracks.
The miniser added that King Fahd spoke about developments in Arab, Islamic and international arenas and Saudi Arabia's stand supporting just causes in general and the legitimate rights of Arabs and Muslims, in particular.
