Arafat to reconcile with Hamas leader

A Palestinian source said a reconciliation meeting will be held today in Jeddah between Palestinian President Yasser Arafat and founder of Hamas movement, Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, under the patronage of Saudi Arabia. The source added that Arafat, who arrived in Jeddah earlier in the day for a two-day visit, will meet later with Sheikh Yassin in the presence of two of Hamas leaders, Khaled Mishal and Mousa Abu Marzouk.
