Jordanian petroleum company's profits fall in 1997

The profits of the Jordanian Petroleum Company backed off to reach 8.35 million dinars last year in comparison to 9.23 million dinars at the end of1996. The company's assets increased to 401.7 million dinar, up from 380.4 million in 1996.
