Iraqi-Iranian officials meet on prisoners, suspended issues

A well-informed source at the Iranian embassy in Baghdad said Iraqi and Iranian officials on Monday held a meeting to discuss the question of prisoners still held in the two countries at a border-point northeast of Baghdad.
The source added that the meeting was attended by Abdullah Najafi, whereas the Iraqi side was attended by Riad al-Qaisi. The sources said other officials representing the two sides also took part in the meeting in order to discuss issues suspended between Baghdad and Tehran.
