French Tourism Minister received by Jordan's King

King Hussein of Jordan yesterday night received French Tourism Minister Michelle Demessine, who is on an official visit to Jordan. At the meeting King Hussein and Minister Demessine discussed tourism issues and joint efforts to preserve Jordan's national heritage.
The king awarded the French minister the al-Kawkab medal of the first order.
Before being received by the king, Demessine met with Jordanian Minister of Tourism Aqil Baltaji. The two ministers held talks on prospects of cooperation between two countries in tourism industry. The tourism impetus in both coutries and future plans to promote the services offered in the field were examined during their meeting.
