Muscat Gulf Investment Services has been named by the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) as the best brokerage firm in 1997.
The selection was based on the following criteria: volume of trade and number of new subscriptions handled by the brokerage firm; immunization levels; number of branches and agencies maintained by the firm; extent of cooperation with fellow brokers, MSM and members of the public; maintenance of proper records; adherence to MSM guidelines and regulations; and the firm's financial results compared with the previous year's performance.
