Arafat meets with Blair

Palestinian President Yasser Arafat is meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair today in a new European attempt to restart the stalled peace process.
Arafat stated that international forces are capable of ending the Israeli occupation of the Arab - Palestinian territories and putting an end to the tension in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, Jordan, Palestine, and Israel formed a joint delegation heading to the United States and the European Union countries to discuss breaking the stalemate in the peace process. Youssi Saried, the head of Merietish movement, said that the delegation will not ask the United States and the European Union to press on the concerned parties but it will ask for a balanced approach to achieving peace.
