Hamas' Yassin to visit Damascus, major leadership change in Hamas

Palestinian sources told ArabicNews.com that the leadership of the Islamic resistance movement, Hamas, is currently holding communication with the Syrian government to arrange a visit for Sheikh Ahmed Yassin to Damascus on the first half of the coming month.

This comes within an Islamic and Arab tour includes" also Jordan, Iran number of the Gulf countries.

The sources said that Hamas leadership has decided to raise the level of its relations with Syria through appointing the members of the political bureau, Imad Alami as a representative to it in Damascus instead of Abu Mohmed Mohme who has played an important role in developing the bilateral relations during the 4 years that he has spent in.

Hamas' leadership has taken resolutions to make some changes in Hamas's bureau in Khartoum, Tehran and Beirut.

Then the authorities accepted to release Hamas's members Mohammed Bahbouh which indicates the developing of relations.

The changes also include removing Hamas's representative Dsama Hamdan from Tehran to Beirut instead of Mustafa El-Rauri who will say at Beirut for continuing his study there.
