Egypt's FM Moussa receives US ambassador

Foreign minister Amr Moussa met the American ambassador in Cairo Daniel Kurtzer who said after this meeting that the talks discussed a great number of joint interest issues at the top of which comes the peace process and US Secretary of Defense William Cohen's visit to Cairo yesterday.
Moussa also said that these talks have tackled arrangements for the American Vice President Albert Gore's visit to Egypt at the beginning of the coming month.
Concerning the recent developments that is the ambassador expects to occur in the Israeli - Palestinian negotiation's track during the coming weeks, Kurtzer said: his country's believe that its suggestions for encouraging the peace process are balanced suggestions where the two parties can work through it, yet he refused to specify whether these suggestions will achieve their objective or not.
Then he added that Washington will renew the sending of the US envoy Dennis Ross once more at the end of this week in a new attempt to reach an accord between the two sides.
