Bahraini premier confers with Australian defense minister

Bahrain's Prime Minister Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Salman al-Khaleifa today received Australian parliament member and defense minister Ian McLachlan and members of the accompanying delegation, who arrived from Kuwait.
The Gulf News Agency said that during the meeting views were exchanged on latest developments on the regional and international arenas, issues of mutual interests and bilateral relations. In Kuwait, McLachlan met with some 200 Australian troops deployed in Kuwait "to know how they are doing," according to a spokesman for the Australian embassy in Riyadh.
