Arab Industrial Development Organization meeting in Morocco

The executive council for the Arab Industrial Development Organization will hold its 14th session in Morocco over three days, starting on April 21.

Talaat Bin Zafer El-Zafer, the assistant secretary-general of the organization, said the council is discussing the work papers that will be presented to the organization's ministerial council, which the Arab countries ministers of industry will review in Damascus in June.

Zafer said the executive council would discuss the future reception of the organization perception of its relation to the private industrial sector and Arab investors, the future directions of the organization's work, the work's program and the organization's budget for 1999 - 2000.

He added that the council will discuss a new structure for the organization to cope with the future plans for the new world system and the activation of the private sector's role.
