Four UK jet fighters head for the Gulf

A spokesman for the British Defense Ministry said yesterday that four British jet fighters of the Tornado type from the British Royal Air Force left a German air base in Brugin to strengthen the British military presence in the Gulf region. The AP quoted the spokesman as saying that the four jets will join another eight of the same type, stationed in Kuwait since February 1998.
