Yemen, Germany sign cooperation accord

Yemen and Germany today signed an agreement for cultural and scientific cooperation as German Minister of state for Foreign Affairs Helmut Schafer visited Sanaa. The agreement deals with means of developing cooperation in antiquities, preserving cultural heritage, exchanging visits of scientific delegation and experts and sport cooperation.
Schafer arrived in Sanaa on Tuesday for a two-day visit to Yemen, after which he will head for Djibouti.
