Blair asked not to hand over Egyptian extremists

The London based Islamic Media Center on Tuesday urged British Prime Minister Tony Blair not to hand over Egyptian political asylum seekers staying in Britain.
The Islamic Media Center, headed by Yasser Tawfiq Serri who is sentenced to death in absentia in Egypt under charges of membership in the banned "al-Jihad" armed group called upon Blair not to convert Britain into a "human rights cemetery."
He also called on Blair to honor human rights and international norms and charters pertaining to political asylum seekers and not to extradite any residents of Britain's territories unless they violate the country's laws.
