Enhancing African - Arab cooperation

The Arab League confirmed the importance of enhancing all aspects of African - Arab cooperation, and for increasing communication, meetings and conversation between the secretary general of Arab League, Esmat Abdel Meguid, and Salem Ahmed Salem, the secretary-general of the Organization of African Unity to coordinate positions and strengthen cooperation between the two.
The Arab League council recommended in its last session enhancing African - Arab cooperation, removing obstacles that obstruct the meetings of its bodies, and implementing joint programs.
