Arab plan for solidarity with the Palestinian people

Representatives of Arab countries are discussing a joint Arab plan for solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Ambassador Mohammed Sobieh, the permanent Palestinian deputy to the Arab League, said the Arab representatives are discussing the joint plan on the 50th anniversary of the scattering of the Palestinian people, to make the year 1998 a year of solidarity with the Palestinians, during two-day meetings held at the Arab League starting on April 15.

The ambassador stated that the plan includes marches, symposiums, fairs, and movies aimed at confirming the legal rights of the Palestinian people and disclosing the Israeli practices that violate international agreements, international legislative resolutions.

It also calls for holding an expanded international summit in Cairo to revive the memory and solidarity with the Palestinian people.
