IMF denies that it called Egypt to privatize taxes and customs

The representative of the International Monetary Fund in Cairo, Mawaro Meqani, denied reports the fund demanded that the Egyptian government privatize both its tax and customs services, describing the reports as fabrications.
He added that the financial and monetary policies in Egypt are extremely good, implying that Egypt is totally adhering to the processes of economic reform.
Meanwhile, the manager of the World Bank in Cairo, Khaled Ekram, visited El-Wadi El-Gadid yesterday, where he decided to establish service and production projects for the governorate.
