Abdul Meguid to visit Algeria on Sunday

Arab League Secretary-General Esmat Abdul Meguid will begin a two-day formal visit to Algeria on April 12.
Algerian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saabeh Aabd El-Aziz said yesterday that Abdul Meguid will hold talks with the Algerian officials in which they will tackle the Middle East peace process, rectifying the Arab atmosphere, and Euro-Mediterranean talks within the meetings to be held in Spain and Italy.
Abdul Meguid is the first Arab or foreign visitor received by Algerian President Liamine Zeroual after he underwent successful surgery in Switzerland in March.
Abdul Meguid had previously postponed his visit to Algeria.
