Sheikh Zayed: Distribute lands, don't sell them

UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan called on the UAE's rulers not to sell their UAE properties, but to distribute lands to all UAE citizens, Khaleej Times reported.
The report quoted him as saying that citizens should have a right to land on an equal basis with the state's rulers and as saying that citizens' rights should be dealt with on the basis of the Sharia.
