Legend of Abraham: first Jordanian-Israeli television production
Jordan-Israel, Entertainment, 4/7/1998

For the first time Jordanians and Israelis working in the joint television production sector met in Cannes to produce a documentary television series. The production deals with the prophet Abraham, a common figure between the three divine religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

The documentary series, entitled "The Legend of Abraham," is now for sale in the context of "the international market for TV programs," annually held in Cannes. The series is produced by the Israeli "Israel's Film Service" and the Jordanian " Prime Time Production." It was filmed in eight countries and sometimes in secret.

The series will be displayed on the same day in Israel and Jordan and will be introduced by King Hussein and Israeli President Ezer Weizman, Al-Nahar reported.
