El-Naseri party boycotts elections for Egyptian Consultation Council

The El-Naseri party in Egypt said it will boycott the elections for the consultation council, scheduled the end of the coming month to choose a number of members.
The secretary-general of the party, Diaa El-Daood, confirmed that the trusteeship will boycott the coming election to protest the government's lack of response to the opposition's suggestions on modifying laws and procedures that prevent any forgery during elections.
The Moslem Brotherhood group also announced that it will boycott the elections.
The Assembly Party has not yet decided on its stance toward the elections. It has boycotted previous elections.
