Iranian FM invited to Jordan

Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi received a formal invitation from Jordanian Foreign Minister Jawad al-Anani to visit Jordan to discussing methods of improving relations between Iran and Jordan.
An official Jordanian source in Cairo said that the Jordanian foreign minister directed an invitation to his Iranian counterpart for a formal visit to discuss bilateral relations, the Middle East and Islamic world issues.
In a declaration to the Iranian news agency, Kharazi noted the importance of greater coordination and cooperation between the Islamic countries.
Relation between Amman and Tehran grew stale after the Islamic revolt of 1979, but have improved since Iranian President Mohammed Khatami assumed power last year.
