Arab League will move to implement foreign ministers' resolutions

After the greater Bairam holiday, the permanent deputies of the Arab member sates will discuss in a meeting headed by Arab League Secretary-General Esmat Abdel Meguid recent developments in the Middle East, especially regarding the peace process and US ideas suggested to the Palestinians and Israelis, said the league's Sudanese deputy, Ahmed Abdel Halim.
In a press statement, the Sudanese deputy said he consulted Abdel Meguid about the implementation of Arab League council's resolution, stating that the league intends to specify the methods and programs to implement these resolutions and recommendations issued within the Arab foreign ministers' meetings.
He said the deputies will hold a meeting after the greater Bairam to assess the current situation, saying that these moves reflect the seriousness of the AL to prepare the council's resolutions for implementation.
Concerning the meeting that was recently held in Riyadh between the foreign ministers of Egypt, Syria and Saudi Arabia, the Sudanese official said these consultations aim at holding either a small or expended summit.
