Disputes unresolved between Kuwaiti government and representatives

In spite of the Kuwaiti government's statement that it would improve its relations with the People's Council, the Council's representatives expressed their lack of relief during a session of the council labeled as a session of reconciliation and openness between the two authorities.

The representatives said relations between the two authorities are in a very difficult position. This happens at a time when the Kuwaiti government is trying to improve cooperation between the council and itself.

The Cabinet of Ministers forms a ministerial committee to prepare the agenda of the government and its positions during the coming period.

The government last week had a ministerial reshuffle that was the result of a threat by the parliament to hold a no confidence vote in the minister of information.
